FreeLife International still trending after 20 years, should you join?

FreeLife International is a science-based nutritional company that was founded in 1995.

They’ve been in the game for a while, but I wasn’t convinced to join and the reason why is pretty obvious.

This video explains:

All good? Let’s continue…

Overview

Ray Faltinsky and Kevin Fournier are the co-founders of this health and wellness organization whose profits in sales have surpassed the billion dollar mark. Their main products have names like Gochi, Jule of the Orient and the TAIslim Total Body System.

They claim that people who use their Total Body System experienced six times a greater fat loss and eight times greater weight loss than people who used diet and exercise alone… something that is obviously noteworthy to point out.

They are members of the Direct Selling Association and they market their products through multi-level marketing strategies. Members who join their program are compensated on a commission basis.

FreeLife International runs its business based on eight values:

  • Integrity
  • Service
  • Unity
  • Accountability
  • Respect
  • Gratitude
  • Respect
  • Belief

Products

Originally this company made nutritional supplements and personal care products, but in 2003 they elected to focus on products made from goji juice. With names like, “TAISlim, TAIFit, TAIWellness, and TAIKids,” they seem to have developed a line that genuinely help promote a healthier lifestyle.

In addition to nutritional supplements, they have a TAIHome line that includes items such as soaps, toothpastes, skin creams  and cleansing pads.

They offer two health packs, both  of them have a drink to help energize the mind and body, and another drink that is supposed to help reverse the signs of aging.

Other supplements included are detox kits, products designed to restore the body’s healthy ph levels, and promote healthy sleep.

Opportunity

By sharing these products with others, associates of FreeLife are rewarded with compensation plans. You can work full, or part-time from home and there is a low start up cost with very little risk involved.

Members can get paid on a daily or weekly basis, with monthly bonuses given out according to the revenue you  generate. They also have a monthly car bonus that can range anywhere from $600-$1,000. By staying with them and moving up in levels until you get  to a Leadership position, you may become eligible for bonuses up to one million dollars.

There are 13 ways to make money with this company. These are a combination of rebates, bonuses and commissions.

By selling packages you can earn anywhere from 10-20% commission and they provide a strong support group with promotion activities to help kick start your business into growth.

Another benefit of working with this company is you are marketing a product that makes people look and feel better.

Recap

FreeLife International seems to be a legitimate company. They have been in business for over 20 years and they have made a lot of money while doing it. They have offices located all over the world and continue to grow on an annual basis.

Their website is visually appealing, informative and easy to navigate through. The products are shown with their respective prices and it is easy to find information about each one. This eliminates a lot of confusion regarding ingredients and effectiveness.

I like the fact that a portion of the global sales is given to back to communities around the world to help children in need this program is called, “Gojii Kids.” This is in addition to the over 50 charities for children that this company has readily contributed to over the years.

Many of their products contain either goji juice, or what is known as Jule. Both of these have been found to have many health benefits and the scientific research used going into them has been well documented.

When I checked the employee reviews of this company I found most of them to be favorable. In fact, very few were negative, with an overall rating of 3.5 out of five.

In 2007 the company ran into some problems when  their former spokesman, Earl Mindell made some statements about the effectiveness of the goji berry juice that were later found to be false. There was an investigation into these claims and it was later discovered that Mindell’s PhD had become invalid. Because of this, FreeLife cut him loose.

In 2008 the company again ran into trouble when the statements regarding the effect of the berry on cancer and anti-aging properties were disputed. Apparently the methods of testing were questioned and there had been a conflict of interest between parties.

In 2009 there was a lawsuit was filed against the company in Arizona. Allegations of false advertisement, misrepresentations and other false statements were made about their products. In 2010 a settlement was reached and the company had to change the way the products were marketed and they had to donate to an educational charity.

Aside from these setbacks however, I still feel that the company is reputable and that money can be made for the individual that wants to join forces with them. There are nine levels of leverage you can benefit from so if you have a solid sales team, the potential to create some impressive earnings is there.

The system relies on attraction based marketing. This means sales are made just by promoting the health benefits. If you look good and feel energized and healthier, people will notice and want some of what you have. Repeat orders will come easier and on  a regular basis.

The prices are competitive with many of the other nutritional supplements that are on the market. Combine this with the fact that they taste good and have been proven to be beneficial and it is easy to see why this company has had so much success.

If you enjoy sales, like to help people and want to have a healthier lifestyle, being a representative for FreeLife International might be just the job opportunity you may be looking for. Of course there are no guarantees with any of the MLM companies out there, but in comparison to many of the other ones that I’ve seen, these guys seem to be on the up and up.

Do your research, set your goals and take the steps necessary to make your dreams of having a home based business a reality.

If you are looking for a sustainable way to generate income and build a business you can feel good about, there is a better way.
