Yoli aims to change many aspects of your life, is it a scam?

Yoli is a network marketing company that claims to change lives on a physical, personal and financial level.

They do this mainly through nutritional products aimed at helping consumers achieve fitness and weight loss goals. While the business sounds like a great idea, you should get the facts straight.

This video explains:

All good? Let’s continue…

Yoli was founded in November, 2009 by Robby Fender and four of his very close friends.  In Aztec Yoli means “to live”.

Since its incorporation, their mission has been to change lives on physical, emotional, and financial levels. They provide high-quality, all natural health products called the Better Body System and by using a generous compensation plan, they’ve helped thousands around the globe.

Their customers and distributors are affectionately called the “Yoli Nation” and they are the reason they have achieved worldwide success.  Whether your goals are to lose weight, increase fitness capacity, or simply feel better, the BBS is designed to help you achieve them.

On an emotional level Yoli wants to help you feel better as well.  They do this by providing peace of mind and boosting your self confidence through comprehensive support systems.

Yoli’s compensation plan provides you the chance to be financially taken care of by sharing BBS.  Depending on your goals, be it part time, or quitting your job, Yoli wants to help.

As was mentioned, Yoli offers health products with their main line being Better Body System.  The package includes:

  • products to maintain a healthy PH balance
  • weight management systems
  • products for developing and keeping a healthy metabolism
  • nutritional supplements
  • products for keeping a healthy structural balance

In addition to these products, Yoli offers 14 different recipe packages as a free download.  In their single product line, they provide supplements with names like, “Thermo Burn, Passion, Dream, Truth, Fun and Flex.”

Their transformation kits are designed to reduce acidic waste, promote digestive health, boost metabolism and provide total nutrition for the body, thereby changing both how you look and feel (see: Isagenix, Herbalife, or 4Life).

Once you reach your weight and fitness goals, Yoli has what is called their “Lifetime Kit.”  These products provide daily maintenance benefits to help maintain your newfound lifestyle.

Compensation Plan

As a member of the Yoli team, you are provided with several different incentive programs.  These include direct compensation, travel packages, luxury car opportunities and free product give aways.  For every three people you refer, you receive free products every month.

The names of these bonus plans are as follows:

  • Rebate Bonus
  • Fast Start Bonus
  • Break Even Bonus
  • Unilevel Executive Matching Bonus
  • Global Leadership Bonus
  • Binary Team Commission
  • Multiple Business Centers

You must be an active member to receive the compensation. This is achieved by maintaining 50 PV per month and recruiting enough customers to stay at your personal level.  All members are allowed to participate in the “Fast Start Bonus” program and to earn “Retail Profit.”

You can qualify to receive a free “Auto-Ship Kit.” This is accomplished by maintaining three preferred customers on a monthly basis. In addition to the Binary Business Center cap and the individual rank caps, they have a general payout cap of 50% of CV on the collective payout through the entire commission plan.

As I began researching Yoli LLC, I was impressed with how the website allowed me to easily navigate through all the different products and opportunities.  You can download a copy of their compensation plan that goes into great depth detailing all their means of incentive.  So much depth however, it was slightly overwhelming.  It seemed redundant at times.

What I was not impressed with was the small percentage of commission available. On the average it seemed to be around ten percent. I feel that most people would benefit the greatest from the free products that could be obtained on a monthly basis without a lot of time and energy needing to be spent.

These free products seem to cover a wide range of health benefits, instead of just focusing on weight loss or vitamins.

I like the fact that the Yoli headquarters are located in the United States and all their products are natural.  What they aren’t however, is inexpensive.  Individual bottles are priced anywhere from $20 – $40 with small packages starting at $150.  This seems a little high when you take into account that nutritional supplements are readily available in stores like GNC or your corner drug store for much less.

Other reviews of Yoli are less than favorable.  People complained of not obtaining their desired results and voiced their concern of the general ineffectiveness.  When you take into account of how much Yoli charges, you can see why this would be extra frustrating. Another thing I found to be concerning is that they don’t list all of the ingredients in their products.

I think it would be extremely difficult to quit your full time day job and make a comfortable living by marketing this product.  Their transformation kit costs more than $340 for a month supply, which adds up to more than $4,000 per year.  I don’t know a lot of people that would be willing to shell out this kind of money on a product they have never heard of.

They have been around for seven years now and that in itself contributes to some degree of their success.  Perhaps when they reach the ten year mark it will be easier to make a solid decision on their reputation and effectiveness of their products and marketing plan.

Again the most favorable opportunity that I found in my opinion, is you have the chance to obtain free products for yourself.  If you tried them and were happy with the results achieved, this would obviously save you a considerable amount of money in the long run.

Of course no health supplement is magical and works without you putting in the work and effort.  Without a proper exercise and nutrition plan no one will achieve a dramatic transformation. It really boils down to what your goals are (both fitness and financial) and what you are willing to do in order to achieve them.

Is it possible to make money with Yoli? Sure, it’s definitely possible. Just don’t plan on quitting your day job to work from home anytime soon.

It’s still an MLM and there are flaws in the industry. The guy at the top clean up most of the profits and the rest of the 99% are left to fight for the scraps. There is a better way.
